Brothers and Sisters,
Life is a journey, one filled with many paths that can be taken. Paths that lead to joy, and ones that lead to heartache. Paths that lead to life and ones that lead to destruction. In life we are constantly choosing a path, a direction on which to set out. These choices we make daily can lead many of us into stress and anxiety because so often we feel alone in these choices.
Today’s passage refutes that. This passage speaks clearly to the hearts of men and women. God is telling us WE ARE NOT ALONE! For those who Trust in Him, He will guide us upon paths He has chosen for us in this life.
If you dig deeper in this passage you will see that the Lord “is always at my right hand”. This is important for us to remember. As we walk these paths of life and are constantly faced with forks in the road, Christ will show us the better way - if we are looking to Him. He cares about the details of your lives. There is a joy to be found when you are in this place with God. When you invite Him to travel with you in this life and give over to Him the choices we face each day.
If you feel that you are walking this life alone, stop and listen. Dwell in His presence. Let Him light the footsteps of your days. For He is a beacon to all those who Trust in Him.
