Michael Rivera has walked with Christ for more than 48 years. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, he was introduced to Jesus in 1978 by his uncle, William Rivera.
Michael graduated from Zion Bible Institute in 1984 and was ordained into ministry in 1989. He has served in pastoral ministry, community leadership, substance-abuse counseling, public health, and Head Start.
In 2011, Michael founded Jethro Ministry, which became Building Brothers in 2017—a ministry committed to helping men grow in faith, build authentic relationships, and lead their families, churches, and communities.
Michael is a gifted teacher and speaker who has ministered at churches, men’s conferences ( Iron Sharpens Iron), and leadership events across the country. He has help facilitate men’s groups with Guywire Ministry.
