This scripture is part of a much longer chapter giving focus to God’s precepts - God’s rules that guide us, keep us in check and also give us life. We read about how God gives us life throughout The Bible and this verse is another piece of evidence.
God wants us to understand what He has for us. He wants us to experience the best of this life. He wants us to not forget Him and His Word. If His Word gives us life then The Bible is His gift to us.
God and living go hand in hand. Let’s not forget what He has said and done so that we can truly have the best life before us.
