It feels to me like the last couple of years have been extraordinarily unsettling.
It doesn’t matter who you are, trouble and distress has visited your door.
Will we allow these troubles to undo and break us or refine and strengthen us?
James 1:2-4 states; "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Let us welcome trials as friends and be eager for what they have to teach us. Most importantly may we draw close to God during these times and pray for His equipping to emerge our better selves.
In Christ these are temporary setbacks. Use these times wisely.
