The final word. A phrase we’re all familiar with. Often we seek the expertise of someone in the know, someone with authority, someone who can show us how things really are. Someone to tell us the truth.
As often happens in life we’re left wondering if we spoke with the right person with the correct information. Many of us can feel alone to make the decisions in life.
For the next 40 Days, we’re going to walk together into this area and discover the truth that we are not alone to figure things out. Someone gave us a manual for living.
God gave us His Word to shine light into all the areas of our lives, even the minute daily details. His Word is The Word on how to live this life. It is The final authority for the questions we have.
The Word is alive. It is meant to be an active participant in our lives. It is meant to take residency in our heart. It is intended to give us understanding, wisdom and discernment for every decision we make and every course we take.
Both the written words of The Bible and the living embodiment of these words in Jesus represent the final statement on knowing God and how to live out our days. A standard for living.
Today’s passage is a key insight from God Himself as to the nature of His Word and how it works. We can see how His Word is conveyed as a messenger. Christ is this Word. He is this messenger. He is The Truth we all seek. He was sent to each of us to tell us we are not alone. For The Word is very near.
