Brothers,
Live like Jesus. It’s the example each one of us should aspire to. Not just in deeds but in words. Here the Son of God demonstrates the importance of Praise as Jesus praises The Father for how He moves in the lives of men. Jesus is full of joy because the 72 disciples He had sent out had just returned recounting tales of how God had moved through them in powerful ways.
They were growing. They were learning. They were beginning to understand that God moves mightily in the lives of men. They were beginning to see that God intercedes in our lives. They were experiencing God’s promises that He always goes before us and has already been where He leads us. They were leaning to trust God.
When Jesus spoke of the little ones and God revealing Himself to them, Jesus was also speaking of you and I. Our Lord is full of joy when we grow in the knowledge of God. Understanding is a gift from God. Understanding of the impact Praise can have in our lives is a powerful gift. The more we learn about Praise the move we learn to trust God.
Let us be like Christ. Let us be intentional with our praise and give thanks to God for how He moves in our lives.
